Peru is located in South America and bordering Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. The capital Lima. This city lies directly on the sea, while for example the city of Cusco at over 2500 metres altitude. Another attraction is the Machu Pichu (old city of the Incas) at 3000 metres altitude. Here are the famous Inca trails to walk or is the city by train and bus to visit from Aquas Callientes. Other cities are Arequipa (with the frozen mummy Guanita), Nazca (with the strange circles), Puno (at the Lake Titicaca with the Indians floating villages.
