Travel information Canada - Saskatchewan : Saskatchewan is a province located between Candes the northern Northwest Territories and the neighboring provinces of Alberta and Manitoba. Southern has a boundary with the United States of America. The capital is Regina. Sights include the Legislative Building, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Heritage Centre, the Science Centre and the Regina Conservatory Flora. Another big city is Saskatoon, known for its mining and distribution of grain. Saskatchewan is one of the prairie provinces and is home to lots of wildlife. About half of the province is forested. There are 100,000 lakes found in Saskatchewan. The main rivers are the Saskatchewan, the Assiniboine and Churchill. Saskatchewan has two national parks: the Prince Albert and Grasslands National Park. There are 34 provincial parks. The park has much to do: fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, kayaking or to wildlife conservation. Other attractions include the Tunnels of Moose Jaw, Castle Butte, the Super Slides kenosee and the Outlaw Trail.
